Bread is for Ducks, Not Babies

Today Chris and I thought Kaydee would like a little outing to the Duck Pond. She was dressed up and ready to go! When afternoon hit, the sun was bright, and the weather was perfect! We arrived at the duck pond and picked a spot next to the pond in the shade. When we sat down, Kaydee noticed the ducks, and wasn't sure what to think. Here is her first impression of the bread thieves...
As the adventure progressed, Kaydee watched the duckies eat the bread Daddy threw at them, and the evil seagulls swoop down and abuse the ducks for their bread. (it was actually kind of sad) She was watching the ducks, when she realized I was taking pictures of her, and she became distracted....she likes to model...
She spent some time with Mom, some time with Dad....
Until, she saw what Dad had...BREAD. And why was he wasting it for the ducks! She faked us, and pretended to help. When in fact, she wanted the bread for her own little self...
When the bread was taken away, this resulted in a VERY unhappy Kaydee. Which resulted in a very unhappy duck pond as well....
After a good 15 minutes of screaming, Chris had managed to rid us of the bread. The ducks were very happy, might I add! When the crying seemed not to cease, we decided it was time to return home and give Kaydee her 2nd lunch for the day. We got back, ate a bottle, and Kaydee took a long nap on the couch. :) All was well again in the life of the little sweetheart.

Next time we visit the ducks, we will just watch them, not feed them. I think Kaydee like to share. Food at least...

All in all, it was a successful first visit to the pond.

Till next time,
Chris, Chels, and Kaydee <3
