Kaydee has been sitting up on her own, grabbing things perfectly, standing on her own while holding on to something, and taking steps with Mom and Dad's help. Now, with all this growing and movement comes a lot of bumps and bruises apparently, which tend to freak me out. Yesterday, she was holding her self up on a piece of furniture, and decided she wanted to eat it. She leaned forward too fast and ended up banging her little jaw on it. She looked up at me, gave me the lip, and started crying. Later that night, she was sitting up on her changing table and holding my hand... she whipped herself back and hit her head on the sidebar of her changing table....same thing, lip, then tears. I am beginning to understand these things are bound to happen, but it hurts me to see her cry, and the lower lip is just a KILLER! So today, we decided to take it easy, go for a walk around the kitchen, and then head outdoors to soak up the sun. :)
While outside, Kaydee stumbled across a little flower, and proceeded to spend 30 minutes looking at it and caressing the grass. When I tried to pick her up, she would screech, and the minute I set her back in the grass, she would squeal with excitement. The Mom in me gave in, and stayed out there with her until she got hungry. :) Here are some pictures from her little adventure.

The flower took her little bumps away. :)
Wish us better luck!!!!
