Every day, Kaydee helps me work around the home. Clean, laundry, and taking care of baby. Working just as hard, is Daddy, doing his financial planning duties at a school 30 minutes away from us. We sure do miss him. We have to see him eave every morning which we know is hard on him, and we cannot WAIT to see him right when he gets home! :) Here is a look at Kaydee and Daddy time, the moments we wait for the most each day. <3
Kayde and I wait for the phone call that Dad is on his way. Then, we prepare ourselves, play for a bit on the play mat Poppy and Gigi got for her, read a book from Mama Lis, and await the sound of the car door outside. here comes Daddy!
Coming home from a hard day at work, the first thing Chris wants to do is give his baby girl a smooch.
Once Chris is in the door, he usually tries to change before Kaydee gets ahold of his tie. Sometimes, this is unsuccessful, and she catches it before he can put her down. Then he's stuck with slobber on his favorite ties...
Then after Dad gets changed, we watch our shows, pop in some Big Bang Theory and when it's time, we head up for bath time. Kaydee's favorite part of the day. She gets to look at herself in the mirror, and she gets all the attention from Mom and Dad she could ask for. First she gets naked baby time, tickled and kissed all over. :)
Then we have "before bath time" where we give her booty some spankins and let her stare at herself in the mirror. She also gets Mom and Dad time.
Then in she goes to get her little self clean! It takes some extra work to get the dirt out from under her neck, so first we hop in the bathtub. We scrub her hair, her face, and splash until it's time to wash the baby bod.
then we whip her out to clean her body. I need Chris' help because all she wants to do is walk around, and she's as slippery as a greased pig!
After bath time is complete, Dad has to hurry to get Kaydee out of the bath and into her towel frog. We dry off, and then clean hear ears and nose!
You can tell that Chris picked out her nighty for the night. ;)
We're done! Now it's just hair brushing, (which Kaydee loves because she feels pretty) and then off to eat dinner.!
And that is our night time routine! :) Perfect family time, lots of fun, and all with Daddy here. I miss him everyday, and I know Kaydee girl does too. :)
